The infinite history of things
or the end of the tragedy of one

33rd Sao Paulo Biennial
Affective Affinities

For this group exhibition Tee worked closely with artist Sofia Borges, who was invited to curate a section of the Biennial. The Infinite History of Things [...], explores mythological references based on philosophical interpretations of the Greek tragedy. The presentation aimed to investigate the limits of representation and language's inability to mediate the real. Works were included by Leda Catunda (Br), Tunga (BR) Sarah Lucas (UK) amongst others. Works from the Museum of Images of the Unconscious (BR) and indigenous masks from Museo del Barro (PY) were also included in exhibition.

With generous support of the Mondriaan Fund.
